Has owned and managed Forget-Me-Not Farm for six years along with her family. She has been an avid horse enthusiast for much of her life riding in Pleasantville NY as a child and as an adult. As a mother of three, she fosters a family atmosphere at the farm and encourages her students to take an active part in grooming, tacking, stable management and practicing correct and safe horsemanship. She manages the lesson and leasing program, coordinates the camp and special activities and oversees the daily care of the horses through a hands on approach. She serves on the committee of the Fairfield-Westchester Junior Professional Horseman’s Association. She is also an instructor who particularly enjoys “starting” the younger riders.
Currently attends Suffolk University in Boston and hopes to attend Veterinarian school after getting her undergraduate degree. She has for the last two summers worked at New England Equine Practice as a Vet technician assisting in the clinic and on the road with the doctors.
As a junior, Molly successfully competed with her thoroughbred gelding, Secret Past (Simon) at many levels and in her final junior year won the top honors for points in the Fairfield-Westchester Children's Equitation division. In 2006 she was named the USHJA's North-Eastern Outstanding Junior of the year for her dedication to the sport, her guidance to the young riders, her work with the Jr. Professional Association and her community service.
In her first summer as an adult she brought her pony, Top 'O the Mornin' (aka Danny), to his first horse shows, qualified her adult equitation horse, Derby, for the CHJA and NEHC medal finals and had many nice ribbons with Simon and Derby at the Vermont Summer Festival.
Molly has worked as a technician at New England Equine Practice for the
past several years and hopes to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine.
